Asahi Linux pre-alpha installer test notes: Run this: curl -L https://mrcn.st/alxsh | sh You can run it from macOS, recoveryOS, or 1TR. It should do the right thing. Just follow the prompts. Prerequisites: * A working macOS install, >= 11.4, with a machine owner user (i.e. go through initial setup). * Either a blank APFS partition (>=2.5G) or free unpartitioned space (this won't resize macOS for you, yet.) No guarantees that it won't eat your data, though I haven't seen it do anything crazy so far. This will only install m1n1, it makes no attempt to partition and install a rootfs or anything like that. The m1n1 part is the hard part, so all testing is appreciated. All feedback on the experience is appreciated. If you run into a problem, screenshots with the system/partition info as printed by the installer would be helpful.
